Direct Inspections

We hired Michael for both our pre-drywall inspection and final inspection on our new construction home, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. During the pre-drywall inspection, his thoroughness gave me tremendous peace of mind. As a homeowner, I had no idea what I should be looking for behind the walls, but he carefully inspected everything and explained his findings in a way that was easy to understand and the construction manager to address. His drone was able to even see roof issues the construction manager didn’t have visibility to! For the final inspection, he delivered an incredibly detailed 75-page report that covered everything from major construction items down to a crack in the road leading to my driveway. While the report was comprehensive, he also took the time to clearly summarize the most important issues that should be addressed before closing, which made the process much less overwhelming. One of the things I appreciated most was his flexibility. New construction schedules are constantly changing, and he was able to accommodate shifting inspection dates both times. He also followed up with phone calls after each inspection to answer any questions and ensure I

Michael at Direct Inspections was outstanding from start to finish. He was professional, thorough, meticulous, and, most importantly, an excellent communicator throughout the entire process. His attention to detail was impressive, and he found issues I never would have noticed on my own. Having the inspection completed 2–3 weeks before closing was extremely valuable because it gave the builder time to address the punch list before our final walk-through, which gave me much greater confidence in our home purchase. Michael was very methodical in every part of the inspection. He checked outlets, switches, airflow, paint touch-ups, the breaker panel, attic insulation, the exterior, and even used a drone to inspect the roof. On top of that, he delivered a detailed 61-page report the very same evening. I highly recommend working with Michael. His communication skills were excellent, and his walkthrough was incredibly helpful, informative, and absolutely worth attending.

Using Michael and Direct Inspections for the SECOND time. The best home inspector we've ever used. Communication is perfect. Promises and delivers. Reports are received in a very timely manner. I was so thrilled to find that he was still available when considering another. He's prompt, does exactly what he says and his expertise is phenomenal. I couldn't recommend anyone else. Thanks Michael.

Direct Inspections did my pre-drywall and final inspections on a new construction build. He was extremely flexible with scheduling and provided all services I was looking for, above and beyond what was advertised. Exacting attention to detail, great communication, timely, and competitively priced. Can’t beat that. I would 100% recommend Michael and Direct Inspections to anyone looking for a qualified, highly competent home inspector. A++

Michael is the best of the best! A true leader in his profession. As a first time buyer for NEW construction, he was referred to me by my realtor and I couldn't be happier from A to Z. Please note that just because you are purchasing a new home, it doesn't mean there aren't any issues. He checked all the boxes for me and I felt I had someone on my side. His report was very thorough and detailed (clear pictures including descriptions and if remediations were required); we went over the 50+ pages; he answered all my questions and educated me about the roof and more. He showed exemplary patience and customer service throughout the process. I highly recommend him and I plan to have him re-inspect the home before my one year warranty expires.
